Frequently Asked Questions

Choosing the right business support is an important decision, so it’s natural to have questions.

Clients ask me these questions most often. To learn more about the business support services I provide, please visit my Services page. However, if you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I’ll be happy to help.

Yes. I offer a free, no-obligation initial consultation so we can talk about your business, the support you need and how I might be able to help.

It’s an opportunity for us to get to know each other, discuss your requirements and decide whether we’re a good fit. There’s no obligation to book my services afterwards.

I offer flexible support based on what you need, whether that’s occasional help, a specific project or ongoing business support.

Hourly support uses my agreed hourly rate, while project-based work comes with a clear quotation based on the scope of the work. For ongoing support, we’ll agree the level of support that works for your business and review it as your requirements change.

You only pay for the support you need, and I’ll always discuss and agree any additional expenses with you in advance. I am not VAT registered, so I do not charge VAT.

You can find more information about my Rates & Support here.

I provide flexible business support tailored to the needs of your business. This can include executive assistance, administration, project management, operations support, process improvement, HR administration, health and safety, facilities management and research.

Whether you need help with a specific task, a larger project or ongoing business support, I can provide practical, experienced support that fits around your requirements.

If you’re not sure exactly what support you need, that’s absolutely fine. We can discuss your business, what’s taking up your time and where you need an extra pair of experienced hands.

Both. I can provide support remotely or on-site, depending on the nature of the work and what works best for your business.

I deliver much of my support remotely using email, video calls, shared documents and other online tools. Where face-to-face support would benefit you, I can also work on-site at your premises, subject to availability and location.

We can discuss what approach would work best for you during our initial consultation.

This depends on the type of support you need and my current availability.

Once we’ve discussed your requirements, I’ll let you know when I can get started. For smaller pieces of work, I may be able to begin quite quickly, while larger projects may require some forward planning.

Before work begins, we’ll agree a start date based on my availability.

No. I offer flexible support without requiring a long-term commitment.

You can use my services for a one-off task, a specific project or ongoing support, depending on what your business needs.

If your requirements change, we can review the level of support you need and adjust the arrangement accordingly. My aim is to provide the right support for your business, without tying you into something you no longer need.

Absolutely. You don’t need to commit to ongoing support to work with me.

If you have a specific project or defined piece of work that needs completing, I can provide project-based support with a clear quotation before work begins.

Once the project is complete, there’s no obligation to continue working together. Of course, if you find you need further support, we can discuss what would work best for your business.

Yes. You may need to share sensitive business and personal information with me, and I treat all information I access or receive in connection with my work as strictly confidential.

I will not disclose your information to third parties without your authorisation, unless the law requires me to do so. I also handle any personal data I process in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.

A Confidentiality Agreement is available where required, providing additional protection for confidential information shared during our engagement.

You can find more information about how I handle personal data in my Privacy Policy.

Outsourcing business support gives you access to experienced support without the cost and commitment of employing someone full-time.

It can free up your time, improve efficiency and give you the practical support you need to keep your business moving forward.

Whether you need help with day-to-day administration, a specific project or more ongoing operational support, I can take care of the tasks that take up your time so you can focus on running and growing your business.

You also have the flexibility to use my support when you need it, without taking on the overheads associated with an employee.

It’s straightforward. We start with a free, no-obligation consultation to talk about your business, what you need help with and how I can support you.

Once we’ve agreed what you need, I’ll confirm the scope of the work, how we’ll work together and the agreed rate or quotation before any work begins.

From there, I’ll get started and keep you updated as the work progresses. If your requirements change, we can review the support you need and adjust the arrangement accordingly.

There’s no complicated process and no long-term commitment — just practical, flexible support tailored to your business.
